Model/Year:
2007 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 4×4 v6
General experience:
This is a solid car that performs a great ride! V6 accelerates the car in a pleasant way. Every time you start the car, you get the feeling of the power and strength. I also like the way the stabilization control system works. My ride is always smooth! Even when I take a ride in a rainy weather I can easily accelerate without being afraid of anything. It seems like my 4Runner can feel the road and it just keeps itself in the straight line, instead of going off the road. Speaking about the exterior I think everyone will like it. To my mind the car looks powerful and fits different landscapes. It looks nice on my vacation pictures by the ocean and in the mountains. : ) The engine is strong and reliable. I’ve never felt so confident about my car and its engine ever before. The last thing to mention is the space. There are plenty space in the car, especially for passengers in the back seats.
Pros and cons:
+ Amazing stabilization control system that works both good on the wet road and in a snowy weather. Powerful and reliable engine. Good acceleration. If you want to break hard your engine is always willing to help you. : )
- Consumption of gas could be lower, but it’s not that bad as it could be. Just about 25 mpg on highway.
Model/Year:
Toyota Corolla 2009 base model
General experience:
We are using this car together with my wife and it’s easy to adjust for a tall and a short driver. It’s got a telescoping wheel and a comfortable seat with a good visibility. The only thing about visibility – have to use the side mirrors more often, because of the high trunk. But I got used to this very quickly. Besides the side mirrors are large and set in the right spot. Our 5-speed MT performs well. We never had any inconvenience or nothing broken since we got the car with my wife (9 month). The basic model includes enough important features, much more than most of the competitors. For sure one of the important features is an electronic and hydro steering. However the hydro steering seems to perform better so they need to make the electronic one better. The 1.8 engine (132 h. power) works almost as quite as if it would be a premium class car and performs better than I thought it would. It accelerates the car even on the mountain roads well enough. The consumption of gas is about 31 mpg on the mountain road, which is totally perfect for me. But sometimes it can get as much as 40 mpg on highways.
Pros and cons:
+ Price, gas consumption, adjustments for a driver, big mirrors, pretty quite for a budget car, easy to accelerate, large trunk.
- Restricted rear vision.
Model/Year:
Toyota Camry LE 2005
General experience:
Toyota Camry is an excellent car. I’ve bought it a couple years ago and really enjoy it for its fair price and also for its exterior. I’ve got some nice options like a moon roof and xenon. I have to mention the top comfort of the seats in the car. And still I dislike some of the features of my Camry. For instance I don’t like the way my car accelerates: when I’m trying to make it move faster – at first it doesn’t respond and just keep rolling. In several seconds the acceleration starts sharply and pushes me into the seat, which is sometimes annoying for me. I also don’t like the quality of the paint they use, because the car is too easy to scratch. For this reason I always need to pay extra attention when parking the car. The last thing I hate is the sound that the seat belt makes, when I unfasten it. But I think it can probably be fixed in the service. I just keep forgetting to tell it to my service manager.
To sum it up I can say that I love this car. It changed my life, and I feel like there is a piece of my own character in it’s exterior.
Pros and cons:
+ A large trunk, perfect seats, perfect gas mileage, good quality speakers system, stylish, modern.
- Acceleration speed, easy to scratch.
